Week 2

We are having another week focussing on ANZAC Day. We are digging trenches, drawing poppies and making sailor's hat. The children have been talking a lot about their relatives who have been involved in the war.
We are going to be making Anzac biscuits on Friday. The children will make a biscuit each. I hope that they get home for you to see and try!
We welcome Libby to Miro this week, she has come to us from Weston School.

As part of our Action Stations this week we are making trenches in the sandpit.

Term 2 Week 1

Welcome to the start of another busy term. We welcome Kaia to our class for this term. It is great to see her smiling face back at our school. We have made quite a few changes to the layout of our learning spaces this term so if you haven't seen it come in and have a look. We love the amount of space we have created.
We are focussing our inquiry this term on 'Managing Ourself' so we will be working on staying on-task and working quietly so that others may get on with their work. We are learning about ANZAC Day ahead of our service on Friday. We will continue to learn more about this next week too.
We hope to make ANZAC biscuits next week and would love some help with this if anyone is free to help.
