Week 9

We are enjoying working on some new action stations this week. One of the new action stations has a challenge. We have to build a tall tower out of newspaper and Sellotape, it was fun working together.
This week we are excited to have Harold the giraffe visiting. We are learning about empathy so that we can talk about our feelings. We are practising this in class by being 'bucket fillers'. Bucket fillers are helpful, kind, smile at others and use kind words.
In maths this week we are measuring with scales we are finding out that sometimes small things weigh a lot and big things can weigh less!
If you come into the class you might see a lot of drumming, dancing or juggling as we practice for X Factor. We are using whakapai ake so that we persist and keep going even when we find it challenging.
